community as working members of curriculum-design
teams for this innovative program which emphasizes
decision making, conflict management, inter-
disciplinary choice, current events, and global

through Telecommunications" program will provide a
sabbatical to design a telecommunications system
for taping programs via satellite, and to write
staff development plans and a resource guide.

The "Tomorrow the Universe Program" is an
innovative project that involves transforming a
school bus into an aerospace laboratory resembling
the National Aerospace Plane. Students, teachers,
community, and businesses come together to help
students plan, train for, and conduct their own
space launch. The bus will also be used for
teacher inservice and workshops. (1992)
