Carolyn Murphree

"Project Infinity" will establish a training module, including staff development activities, for teachers to to enable them to meet the needs at-risk students in mathematics. (1990)

Katherine D. Owens

The "Project Sio4AL (Science is for all Learners)" focuses on researching and developing activities and training teachers for the purpose of implementing instructional techniques that will improve science teaching in the middle grades. A manual will be developed and field tested. (1991)

Jacqueline Rogers

The "Writing Across the Curriculum" project is based on the idea that writing can function as a central feature in the educational development of the students. This project trained teachers from all disciplines to involve their students in the writing process. (1987)

Vicki Fortson Shirley

"MATHEMATICS 2000" is a staff development program designed to facilitate teacher growth and development in mathematics. Statewide workshops will be held and materials will be distributed. (1992)

Ken Wester

The "True Science" project took thirty-two teachers from various schools and placed them in a summer workshop. After completing the workshop, the teachers left not only with the activities, but with all the supplies needed to run the activities for a class of thirty students. (1993)
