project will obtain and distribute information
acquired from polar orbiting and GOES geostationary
satellites. Curriculum materials will be developed and

The "Senior Seminar" will be a cooperative effort
involving employees of businesses, industries, and
public agencies who are willing to serve as mentors.
Workshops and conferences are featured, and a book will
be developed to enable teachers to use these community

The "Field Biology" project proposes to develop a
curriculum that will actively involve students in
studying local ecology sites and topics. The fellow
will work with State agencies to develop an aquatic
learning center, a salmon incubation site, and a nature
trail to provide students and opportunity to have hands-
on learning experiences. (1991)
