Roy W. Chambers

The "Environmental Satellites for Everyone's Classroom" project will obtain and distribute information acquired from polar orbiting and GOES geostationary satellites. Curriculum materials will be developed and training provided to teachers. (1992)

Donna C. Dermond

The "Senior Seminar" will be a cooperative effort involving employees of businesses, industries, and public agencies who are willing to serve as mentors. Workshops and conferences are featured, and a book will be developed to enable teachers to use these community resources. (1990)

Jonathan Yoder

The "Field Biology" project proposes to develop a curriculum that will actively involve students in studying local ecology sites and topics. The fellow will work with State agencies to develop an aquatic learning center, a salmon incubation site, and a nature trail to provide students and opportunity to have hands- on learning experiences. (1991)
