The "Voyage of the Blake" project promotes scientific literacy
through curriculum reform and an enriched interactive multimedia
technology-based learning environment. For the students, "Blake"
will provide realistic and simulated hands-on experience with
mechanical, electronic, and optical tools and devices used in
scientific space endeavors. (1994)

The project "Imaging the Future: Integrating Mathematics and
Science Using Image Processing (the manipulation and analysis of
scientific information represented as images on computers)" helps
students develop critical thinking and hands-on problem solving
skills. Students are brought to the frontiers of current research
as active participants doing science, rather than passive
receptors of facts. (1995)

The project "North Pocono Environmental Area" utilized 18 acres
of wooded land to develop an environmental study area which
included the making of: amphitheater(large group instruction),
trails, bridges(crossing creek and wet areas), bird blind and
feeder stations, tree ring story, soil pit, H20 study site and

individual's actions are a reflection of his/her wants and goals.
