Merle Marie Brave

The "Maka Wokahnige--A Lakota Environmental Science Curriculum" project will provide a sabbatical to develop develop cultural relevant methods of lab instruction including written text, worksheets, lab activities, language skill building exercises covering ecology, populations, biomes, natural resources and conservation. (1990)

Jerry J. Opbroek

The "Science, Technology, and Societal Issues/Visiting Senior Scientist Program" will involve researching and writing curriculum materials for this proposed class. Inquiry-based activities and technology activities will also be developed. Topics such as robotics, genetic engineering, lasers, and environmental analysis will be featured. (1991)

Brad B. Tennant

"A Workbook for Teaching South Dakota History at the Secondary Level" project was made up of two phases. The first phase involved researching and gathering appropriate primary and secondary sources concerning the history of South Dakota. The second phase drafted a workbook and articles to be used for teaching South Dakota's history at the secondary level. (1994)
