John J. Brady, III

The "Equity 2000" project paired the Hume-Fogg Academic School with a similar school in Ft. Worth, TX. Hume-Fogg School is an Equity 2000 training source. The two schools swapped students, teachers, principals, guidance counselors, and parents as they interacted with computers, shared lesson plans, and found solutions to common problems. (1994)

"Discipline Based Art Education (DBAE)" project is a staff development program featuring mini-institutes and mentor program to teach art history, criticism, aesthetics, and production to establish a visual arts program. (1992)

Bobbie Nielson

The "TACL Appalachia" project will provide children with scholarships to attend a summer program for gifted students. Research will be conducted and disseminated on the results of the project. (1990)

Elizabeth S. Smedley

The "Outdoor Living Laboratory" project will create a model outdoor education laboratory to facilitate students' understanding of life science, to provide teacher education and to utilize community resources by providing interaction with the local nature center. This laboratory will be located on school property and will include a greenhouse and a garden area. A resource center will also be developed. Workshops for educators will be featured. (1991)
