Description of your school: Kirby Junior High is part of the Hazelwood School District. We are currently a 6-8th grade junior high (approx. 1500 students). Most classes average between 22-28 children per period. The school day begins at 7:30 am and ends at 2:10 pm. We share a campus with EAST high school. We plan to use the all-weather track for most of our events. All the basic subject area courses are offered as well as Spanish and after school intramurals. *Being our 1st year entering the OLYMPICS we may only enter one class and see how well it catches on. If all goes well we may turn it into an all school activity.

Description of your community: We are located in the Northern portion of St. Louis County. We are close to all downtown attractions. The St. Louis Arch can be seen over the horizon(on a clear day).

Description of sports done in your school: Basketball, Football, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball,Track and Field
