Description of your school: Ours is a public elementary school. We teach students in grades pre-k through 5th. Our school has approximately 670 students. We are located in the desert. We have a grass field and are hopeful that next year we will have a new track field. School starts at 7:40 a.m. for everyone, and ends at 3:15.
Description of your community: Our community is located in the lower valley to the South/East of El Paso. It is mostly a rural community. Cotton and Pecans are a product of our agriculture. Between 35 and 40 thousand people live in this small community.
One of the most popular attractions in this community are the missions. Our area boasts having one of the oldest missions that is still being used today.
Description of sports done in your school: We have a great physical education program here. The students participate in basketball, flag football, and soft ball.
