Description of your school:
TJ is an urban coed public school w/900 students.Student population is
multicultural. Hours are 8-2:19 p.m. with a variety of after school
activities including robotics, drama, and cooking classes. Events will
be run on an outdoor track unless we get access to the nearby high school
indoor track.
Description of your community:
Cleveland is a middle-sized urban area. Our school is about 15 minutes
from downtown. Attractions nearby include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
Great Lakes Science Center, Gund Arena, Cleveland Browns Football Stadium,
Playhouse Square, Cleveland State University. We have Six Flags Theme Park
about 45 minutes away.
Description of sports done in your school:
We have the usual range of sports for middle school: volleyball, golf,
basketball, soccer, and track. We compete against other middle schools
in our district. We also have intramural sports.
