Description of your school:
Huckeleberry Hill School is a public school locatd approximately 20 miles north of Boston. Our students are in school from 8:30-2:30. We have students in grades kindergarten though fourth grade for approximately 450 students. Subjects taught include math, science, language arts, social studies, art, music, physical education and media. We are competing on a track located at our middle school.
Description of your community:
Lynnfield is a small residential suburb located 20 miles north of Boston. We have very few businesses in town but highway access puts us a heartbeat from Boston and all it has to offer. Because of our location we are home to many professional athletes including the Kerrigan (ice skating), Sweeneys (Boston Bruins), Fords (Celtics), Milburys (Bruins)......
Description of sports done in your school:
We are an elementary school so we do not have interscholastic teams yet. We have physical education during our school day. Also, we have an after-school sports program with a variety of activities. the town runs a basketball program that runs at night in our school.
