A description of school:
Primary school Trnovo is a state primary school with students aged between 7 and 15. Students have max. six hours of class per day and there are on average 30 students per class. The curriculum includes Slovene, Math, English, History, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physiscs, PE, Arts, Music, Technical Education. We are located near the centre of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, in a delightful suburb of Trnovo. We have approx.650 students with either 3 or 4 classes per grade. The 200 competitors come from the 3rd to 8th class. Ljubljana is an old hustorical city lying beneath the castle and beside the Ljubljanica river. It's a dynamic university city despite in small size of 250.000 inhabitants. There are many restaurants in and around the city where people meet, enjoy fine food and good Slovene wines.
Slovenia is relatively unknown and those who DO know it it is considered to be the gem of Europe. You can find everything you need mountains, valleys, seaside, farmland, vineyards, ski-resorts and cultural centres.
Our competitives will participate in the following events:
- 50 m, 400 m, 800 m race - boys and girls
- 1600 m boys only
- 4X50 m - The Trnovo Relay - boys and girls
- long Jump
- throwing the tennis ball.
The events will be held in the one of the Ljubljana sports stadiums. We think this is a fantastic way of getting to know about other about other schools and cultures. We look forward to a great competition held under blue sunny skies. We hope you enjoy the day as much as we hope to.

We are happy that we have an opportunity to be part od TeleOlimpyc games again (it's our third time!).
