A description our school:
5th grade school with about 540 students; we have 3 physical education teachers and I am the only one participating in this TeleOlympics; we are mostly middle to upper class with about 15% minority students; public shcool; each students has 45 minutes of p.e.or health each day; we have a gym and a poorly maintained open field with no track or jogging path.

A description of your community:
College Station is the home of Texas A&M University; population of 118,000; we are about half rural and half city; we are located 1 hour north of Houston in Texas; the George Bush Presidential Library is under construction at the present to be opened in 1998; the College Station City and Parks Department offers many programs for kids of all ages (0-99)

In wellness class we spend 4 days each week in physical education activities and 1 day in health. Units in p.e. class include volleyball, physical fitness, cooperative games, football, line dance, hockey, track and field, jump rope, basketball, soccer, and many large group games for both inside and outside days.
