Description of your school: Courtade Elementary is a public school in Grand Traverse County. Courtade is a suburbin area located outside of city. Our school begins each day at 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We have a total of 314 students attending our Kindergarten throught Sixth Grade.
We will be using a grass field to compete on.

Description of your community: Traverse City has a spectacular natural environment. It is located on Grand Traverse Bay. You can choose a quiet historic neighborhood, or live in the country life just minutes from downtown. Our school is near East Bay on the North side of Traverse City. The most important event in our community is the our annual Cherry Festival on July 3-10, 1999. The population of Traverse City is 15,000. In Grand Traverse County the population is 60,000.

Description of sports done in your school: The sports in our school include: girl's basketball, boy's basketball, Co-Ed volleyball, and track.
