Description of your school: Mitchell Intermediate is a public school. We have approx. 1000 students in grades five and six. We are competeing in the Teleolympics through our Physical Education classes. We meet three times a week for 45 minutes. We will run on cement, throw in a grass field and long jump in our gym. We practice the looping concept which means our children have the same teachers for grades and six. We have anywhere from 50-150 children per class.

Description of your community: Our school is part of a district, Conroe,ISD. We have 38 schools in our District and have three more that are to built in the next year. We are a "bedroom" cumminity located about 45 miles from our nearest major city, Houston, Texas. We have hike/bike trails about 10 community swimming pools, lots of tennis courts and three golf courses. The children in this area are generally very active as there is much to keep them busy. Baseball, Softball, Lacross, in-line hockey, Tennis, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Golf are just some of the activities offered for all ages. The Woodlands houses 32,000 people and is projected to be at 50,000 in the next few years. We have new Mall and many resturants in this city.

Description of sports done in your school: We don't have any teams that play that represent our school.
