In my family, christmas is the one time when my entire family gets together, except for funerals or something. First we go to church together. A tradition in my church is to pass a sock around and all the people put money in it for the needy. Then we all eat dinner and open most of our presents on Christmas eve. Most of my mother and father's traditions are the same. The one thing we always eat is the sugar cookies that my grandma makes every year. The only real decoration we always have is a christmas tree.
