Tetracycline, is this in Prozac?
>>>No
It does not effect all 10 nails, mainly just the pinky and ring finger of both hands.
>>>Has it ever been cultured? Really cut and cultured for bacteria and fungus?

Cannot pinpoint anything like exposure, allergies keeps that under wraps.
>>>As I think I said before, could also be psoriaasis.

I have had this digital eczema for years. I have been able to bring it under control with allergy shots. About 8 years so far. But it still flares every now and then. I have been to many doctors over this with no help except for my allergist (who just retired because of a stroke!) I went to a dermatologist (hard to get one to even see me) and he gave me a Halog .1% to put underneath my nail (which did nothing) he just kept telling me to do it more often I was up to 8-10/day with no results. Plus many B-12 shots which helped a little, but certainly did nothing to cure it. Then he just wrote me off as done with treatment. "Just got to let the healthy nail grow out." Which never happened.

>>>Eczema/psoriasis sound possible and can often lead to difficult
>>>nail problems to treat. Find someone who likes nail disease (I do...
>>>country's expert in NYC, Richard Scherr...send a picture if you
>>>cannot come to my office.

My allergist says he has no idea how to treat this (he sent me to the dermatologist), my family doctor has never seen it before, the dermatologist was no help, and I have received many other answers from "You must keep hitting it" to "It's hereditary".

I have found something just recently that seems to be helping. Time will tell. It is a Nail and cuticle treatment bought from television shopping that contains Australian T-tree oil, which I understand is supposed to be an antiseptic. Apricot oil, Avocado Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Vit-A, and Vit-E Oil. Any thoughts on this?

>>>Tea tree oil very popular for all ailments(e.g. warts, acne, etc.)
>>>I wonder if it's cheap or actually good. Lots of folks making
>>>money with it though.
