Hi
I have moles on my face.
I am 71 years old and these moles have been on my face since I was in my 30's.
Description:
Dark, raised, freckle-like, spots. Mainly in the cheek area.
Question:
I have been considering having them removed. I would like to know what
method I should use and whether this is a safe thing to do.
Thank you.

This answer is simple. First, see a dermatologist to find out if the spots are nevi (moles), lentigines, seborrheic keratoses, or other growths that may indicate potential or actual skin cancers. Only then can you consider the best methods of removal. If the lesions are felt to be benign clinically, then you insurance may not cover their removal (unless they cause you trouble like itching, burning, bleeding, etc.). Good luck.
