I'm 44 years old and have had acne all my life. Is there anything new in this field ? I've been taking tetrecycline for about 12 years and it only help a little. Thanks
Answer:
What's new in acne? The following are things you might want to discuss with your dermatologist (who is hopefully board certified): Retin-A, other antibiotics, Triaz gel, glycolic acids (peels and solutions), Accutane, azaleic acid, aldactone, birth control pills. Some of this is new, but these may be options to consider or throw out depending upon you, your acne, and your physician's personal experience with them. Hope this helps.
