I may have erythema multiforme. Came down sick 5 days ago and at the same time developed itchy hives all over. Discontinued one prescription med I was on. Had fever past two days. Strep culture negative so presumably I have a virus. Taking antihistamines. Is the rash caused by the virus? Is there anything clever to do besides wait?
