I have a serious problem with a lot of tiny little blackheads around my mouth, the corners of my mouth, and close to my lips. I use retin-a daily on the rest of my face for acne and it has always worked pretty well, but you're not supposed to use ra on that area. I have tried topical antibiotics and salicylic acid but nothing has helped at all. Any suggestions?
Answer --------------
Who said you are not supposed to use Retin-A on those areas? I can't really comment without seeing you, but you should go back to doc (derm?) that gave you RA and discuss it further....Have you tried glycolic acid peels (a "hot topic" at meetings)?
Good luck. Eliot
