Hi

I have warts on the bottom of my feet, near the heal and on the heal. I am starting with 2 of them, but there are several more on each foot. I have placed DuoFilm pads on 2 of the warts. The warts are not like other warts that come up on a fingure where they will come off or fall off. They are deeper inside the skin. Before the pads I was just smothing them down with a dead skin remover thats kind of like a rock. Should I use this dead skin remover to remove the warts that the pads are on. If so how long should I wait before I try and if not how should I handle this? I have been using the pads for about a week now.

Thank you

Answer ----------------------

Warts are a big problem because they often come back no matter what you do. Nevertheless, you can try the over-the-counter remedies that do sometimes work. If these don't work, you should really see a physician to:

1. Make sure they are warts (and not skin cancers)

2. Discuss other treatment options that might include freezing, immunotherapy (contact or systemic), lasers (carbon dioxide or pulsed-dye), or electrotherapy.

Good luck. Eliot
