Dear Doctor,
Several months ago I started seeing something yellow growing in my toenails, I did not think it was important and it stoped. A couple of weeks ago, it started growing again and now I think it is still growing. Is it fungus?, how can I treat it?
I really appreciate your help,
Sincerely,

I cannot know without seeing you, but fungus (dermatophytes) are common causes of yellow nails. See a dermatologist to discuss the risks and benefits of topical versus oral therapy after a correct diagnosis is made. Psoriasis of the nails can often look just like fungus. Eliot
