I have had psoraisis for approximately 15 yrs. I have not seen a doctor for this specifically for 8-10 years. The times I saw a doctor a variety of treatments were tried. Nothing seemed to have any noticeable affect. I seem to be getting worse little by little each year. Right now all do is put vaseline on the affected areas and bath once or twice a day. This relieves most of the itching.
What will eventually happen if I continue as I have?

Sorry it took so long to answer. If you're happy, don't rock the boat. However, you should know that there is at least one new medication (ointment) for psoriasis since you last checked with a dermatologist. Dovanex is a vitamin D analogue that seems to work great in about 70% of people. You won't know if you are the 70 or 30% until you try it for about 6 weeks. It's moderately expensive with a 30gm tube costing 30-40$, but if it works....
Hope this helps. Eliot
