I am a 24-year old female. I never had too many skin problems in my teens, nor any acne at all. But it seems over the last two years, my face has been getting worse and worse. It's not really pimples, which I get occaisionally, but lots of bumps, especially around the outer edges of my face, from the cheekbone to the jawline. They seem to vary in size, and usually aren't very red or irritated, except high on my cheecks, which sometimes get very flushed. (roseacea?). along my jawline the bumps seem to be far beneath the surface of the skin, and are never red or irritated. My forehead is fine, and I have no skin problems elsewhere. I rarely wear makeup, and I'm still using the same things I always have on my face- mild soap and Noxzema once in a while. I'm on no medication, the only possible change I can think of is that I've started taking a daily multivitamin. Any sugestions?

Without seeing you, it would be difficult to tell exactly what's going on. You mentioned rosacea, and that is certainly a consideration. Since the best medications for rosacea are prescriptions, I'd recommend seeing a dermatolgist. Other possibilities are adult acne (it can occur in those who never had teenagae acne), contact dermatitis (unlikely), drug reactions (even to vitamins), , and a few rare things that I won't mention. You owe it to yourself to see someone, since your face is seen daily. Eliot
