Oh dearest doctor----please help! I've needed these tonsils removed and I
just can't afford it. I've gone to two hospitals and they say it's
elective surgery.
I'm a bartender with no insurance and not enough cash to pay for the surgery.
My tonsils have been inflamed and filled with very offensive debis for about
6 years and I can't take it any more!
My tonsils are huge and collect some kind of solid, white, stinky substance
that effects my health with ear infections ( I lost my hearing for two weeks
last year) and I know it's noticable in social situations and my social life
overall. I know I need my tonsils removed, but how can it be done. Are
there schools that have students learn using volenteers? I'll do it! I
just need the medical attention before I really get ill not to mention the
suffering I tolerate. Please advise me doctor, please. Thank you!

I would suggest contacting the county medical society where you live and inquire if they are aware of any free clinics in your area. If there are you could go to one and see if you qualify but they may request some information regarding your financial situation. Another alternative is to inquire regarding discounted services through a local medical school with an ear, nose, and throat training program.
