I've had sinus surgery two weeks ago. Two days after the surgery I began to have achiness in my back and neck. I sometimes have chills along with this achiness. The aches have lessened since then, but it is still very troublesome. Could this result from the surgery. My ENT doesn't believe so.

I wouldn't be able to answer the question for you based on the information provided. Certainly back aches would not be directly related to the surgery. But positioning during surgery, or perhaps a side effect of muscle relaxant medication that might have been given (if your surgery were done under general anesthesia) could account for such symptoms.
