Our 7 year old son has developed 2 noticeable nodes in his neck, I have also discovered what feel like nodes in the lower back of his head. I should also note that he had an enlarged node removed from under his chin when he was 4 years old. The enlargement was due to a bacterial infection and the node did not return to normal size. He health otherwise is normal, he is very active in sports and his eating and sleeping patterns are normal. My question is should I have this investigated further or leave it alone. I do not want to put him through unnecessary surgery. Thanks.
