I went to a doctor for dizziness . He gave me valium is this ok. I am already so tired it just makes me sleep. Any answers?

Valium is commonly prescribed for the treatment of vertigo due to inner ear disturbance. A potential side effect of valium is over-sedation which is also a potential side effect with most medications used to treat vertigo.
