Dear Doctor,
Three years ago I went to see a doctor for an instestin problem. He gave me some Metrodinazole for ten days. The intestin problem disappear but I suddently became really dizzy. I came back to my doctor and he checked my heart, took X-rays of my neck and found nothing. I went to my family doctor and he told me that I had a ear infection and gave me some Meclizine for 20 days. This did not work. After he told me that I was anxious, and following this I went to see a neurologist. This doctor gave me some medication for the nerves for two years, and at the end no improvement. I tried homeopathie, did not work. I had a full physical last week, blood, urine, heart, and the only thing wrong is a low cholesterol number.

I have those symptom since three years. When I wake up I am fine, 45mn to an hour later I start to be dizzy and this filling disappear most of the time in the afternoon. When I am dizzy this is difficult to concentrate to my work and sometimes I have some memory loss. I need some help.
I thank you in advance

The information you have provided does not enable me to make a diagnosis. It is certainly possible that you may have a chronic inner ear disturbance, but there are many other possible causes of such symptoms. If by "dizziness" you are referring to the sensation of movement such as whirling, and especially if there is an associated feeling of nausea, then one would consider this vertigo. If you are experiencing vertigo chronically I would suggest you consult with an otolaryngologist.
