What colors are best to use on computer screens. I have not found one that I find significantly better than any other.
Dr. Gans. What kind of Doctor do you practice as or do you do a little bit of everything?

I am not aware of any scientific evidence that suggests that any one color on a monitor is preferable to another.

There are, however, specific issues which are important. Monitor image quality is crucial. The smaller the dot pitch, the better the image. Your glasses should focus to the exact distance between the monitor and your eyes. Ambient lighting and humidity should be optimized. Body ergonomic issues should be addressed.

With regard to your personal question . . .

I am an ophthalmologist; an M.D. specializing in the treatment of eye disease. I have a private practice in ophthalmology in Northeast Ohio.
