The following is an email message that I received regarding the response to an earlier question. I will post it for the benefit of those interested. Although the American Optometric Association may recognize visual training as "an effective modality", it is not equally recognized by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, nor by ophthalmologists, in general. Nevertheless, it is the opinion of this author that this SIG will present a variety of views regarding eye care. I would welcome the opportunity to review the efficacy study in question and will report to the SIG as to my findings
