As a person that works with computers and happens to stare for long periods of time at the screen, I notice I need to have my prescriptions changed more often.

I now try to look away once every 1/2 hour. Is there anything else I can do? Reflective glare coatings on my lens may help?

Thanks.

It is unlikely that your computer use is causing the changes in your glasses prescriptions. There is no evidence to suggest that using computers for extended periods of time can change the focusing mechanism of the eye.

Glare coatings or work breaks will ease eye fatigue, but they will not influence the prescription in your glasses.
