I have a relative who has been diagnosed with this desease. She wants to have children but has heard that if she does the desease will progress faster.
I have been trying to check this out in the internet but have not been able to find anything. Can you help?

I am unaware of any evidence that would suggest that pregnancy, labor or delivery could worsen retinitis pigmentosa. I will research the topic further and if I find any additional information, I will post it on this forum.
