Bright Lights of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Inc.

MONTHLY SOCIALS
Multiple Sclerosis touches each community today. It is no longer a rare disorder. Over 350,000 Americans are estimated to be diagnosed with this lifelong, neurological illness. As a result, growing public awareness is an important necessity. That is one reason Bright Lights of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation was established.

Bright Lights is a public awareness, fundraising, and social arm of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. It provides important community outreach and lets others know more about this mysterious illness and the need to support efforts into finding its cause, cure, treatment, and eventual prevention. This active group offers working professionals the means to be more involved in our local community. Some Bright Lights volunteers have gone on to other roles within the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Others continue to help Bright Lights grow and expand.

Bright Lights offers a great way to meet people, socialize, and have fun. Of course, you also help a very important cause - the fight against MS.

With your membership, you help support the many programs and services of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation - a national, non-profit organization providing contemporary support services to anyone interested or directly affected by MS.

Want to get ahead? Meet new people? Relax at the end of the work day? There's a great way to do all this and more by joining Bright Lights. Bright Lights offers working professionals a chance to meet and mingle at our monthly socials. Socials are held the first and last Wednesday of each month at a different popular location throughout Fort Lauderdale or Palm Beach County.

As a member or active attendee, you help raise awareness and funds to help those diagnosed with MS. you also enhance your personal networking opportunities and have fun while meeting new people.

Each monthly social features a business card exchange, tasty appetizers, music, raffles, and special attractions.

You can also promote yourself or your business and sponsor a monthly social, or two, or more. Your business receives public recognition and an award of thanks indicating support of our non-profit activities.

Shedding light on the care of those with MS is made possible through the Bright Lights' scholarship program. Each year, scholarships are awarded to South Florida schools to promote wellness and quality of life studies in the care of those with MS.

Bright Lights also offers you a way to volunteer to help MS local programs and services. If you want to lend a hand, contact Bright Lights Coordinator, Madie. Join us. There are so many ways to help.

The MS Foundation strives to educate people on their options for treatment -- both contemporary and alternative.

And now, the Bright Lights of the MS Foundation helps in that effort too. By providing a fun atmosphere, professional involvement and community cohesion, the Bright Lights group is a perfect partner to the MS Foundation.
